Meet Katie

Hailing from Maple Grove, Minnesota, Katie is a senior Public Relations major at Syracuse University. She has a passion for the arts and music, as well as media reform and social causes.

In addition to public relations, she specializes in graphic design, web design, magazine journalism, and leadership communication.

On campus, Katie lead SU’s premier campus publication: Jerk Magazine, which was recently named the 2008 Best Student Magazine in the Northeast by the Society of Professional Journalists.

When she’s home, Katie enjoys volunteering for Minnesota Public Radio and biking around the Twin Cities lakes.
